As a general rule, the Examination will be held as scheduled when a No. 3 or lower Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal and/or “Amber” or “Red” Rainstorm Warning signal are hoisted. However, it will be postponed when a Pre-No. 8 Special Announcement, the No. 8 or higher Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal, or a “Black” Rainstorm Warning Signal is hoisted, or when an “extreme conditions” announcement by the Government is in force. You are advised to visit the Board’s website at https://www.ppbhk.org.hk/eng/index.html and pay attention to the Government’s press releases at https://www.info.gov.hk/gia/general/today.htm as well as the radio or television broadcast for the relevant announcements.

However, once the examination has commenced, candidates are expected to sit through the Examination though the above typhoon or rainstorm signal has gone up.
